Pieter Schwartz

I returned to Potchefstroom from the UK in 2005 and decided to become an Electrician where I first worked for Brightlight Electrical for 7 years. Whilst doing my practical work in Potchefstroom, I then studied part-time through Vuzalela College. I went on to do my practical exam in Johannesburg to become a qualified electrician. Building on that momentum, I did my Installation electrician license in Rustenburg and became a fully qualified 3-phase installation electrician. I also did my PV-green-card solar course at the North West University in Potchefstroom in 2019.

I have done extensive electrical work for the North West University in Potchefstroom and was involved in renovations of many hostels, lecture buildings, and even the Sanlam Auditorium. I have assisted in the newly built hostel in the Vaal Triangle Campus of the North West University. After long and hard thinking, I decided to relocate to Hermanus in 2019 and start fresh. Doing maintenance, renovations, and new installations throughout Hermanus and surrounding areas, I have been able to do around 16 solar and back-up power supply systems in the last 9 months  as well as modifying and repairing ‘faulty’ solar systems in Cape Town.I continue to pursue the dream of becoming one of the go-to electricians and solar installers in Cape Town.
